Drink wine without feeling hungover. Total win-win

If you thought only coffee can wake you up after a long night in bed, think again. We assume coffee gives us the necessary dose of stimulation to get out of bed but what if we added wine to the mix? Total win-win, right?

No, we’re not recovering from yesterday’s bhaang. Wine-infused coffee is a real thing now. Just ask the guys at Molinari Private Reserve in California. The company, situated in Napa Valley, obviously didn’t have to go very far to look for inspiration. Their latest brew fuses coffee with red wine to create a drink the no vino lover or coffee lover will want to miss out on.

The company claims that their coffee tastes like wine and adding milk to the brew brings out the flavours much more effectively. They recommend using a French Press to get the most out of this one adding, “to release the best flavor this coffee has to offer we suggest using filtered or bottled water with a pot press (French press), although a drip brew works just as well.

If you’re in the neighbourhood, do make it a point to visit their brewery to sample the drink that Molinari describes as, “full-bodied coffee that relaxes in a beautiful wine, absorbing the wine’s nose and history, then the coffee is carefully dried and hand-roasted in small batches.” Check their Facebook page for more.

Here’s the last word. The coffee brew is non-alcoholic despite tasting like wine. If that doesn’t make you want to try this, we don’t know what will!
