Yeh mera India! 

Culinary director at The St Regis Mumbai, Paul Kinny has created a menu that pays homage to the diversity of India’s cuisines in a menu specially designed to celebrate Republic Day. Head there on Sunday to tuck into offerings from across the country, such as koh-e-Awadh from Lucknow, hirvya masalayachi mutton from Maharashtra, Thalassery prawn biryani from Kerala, local seafood grills and pandi curry from Karnataka.

Following the monk

Who among us doesn’t love a good ’ol peg of Old Monk with a dash of cola and wedge of lime? India’s favourite rum brand finds its way on the menu of Chembur-based Le Café for their Rum Maaro Rum festival. Be it drunken chicken sliders, the rummy lamb burger or concoctions such as the silent monk and the monk libre, Old Monk has been used in imaginative ways.

Escape into the weekend

Leave the din of Mumbai city behind and escape to the pristine beaches of Alibaug to enjoy a restful weekend. Their new menu has a ton of offerings to choose from, such as flaming fish (sea bass), butterfly prawns, shrimps in planta sauce, stir fried mussels, clams with jalapenos, Mongolian chicken and more!

Waste-free indulgence 

For a unique and sustainable experience, head to Thirsty City 127, Mumbai’s craft cocktail bar and brewery that has now come up with a zero waste beer! The limited edition brew has been made with leftover fruit and spices. It draws from a classic Belgian wit, has a 6.5 per cent ABV and has been flavoured with white sugar and spiced with jeera, coriander, methi and chilli.
