Hail democracy and eat pizza! That’s right. Voters who turn up to cast their ballot in the US Presidential election already have a lot on their minds what with trying to choose between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. If they are stuck for too long waiting in queue, at least there’s one thing they won’t have to bother about. Food!

Food!

As news of kilometer-long lines in places like Cincinnati began to surface, pizza lovers in the US decided to do something about it and thus was born Pizza To The Polls, a service which allows citizens to donate pizzas to those in line through the website Polls.Pizza. The service acts as an intermediary between those who wish to feed people in line and then delivers the pizzas to those who report long queues. It has already raised over USD 10,000 and is asking volunteers to report long queues where the pizzas can be delivered through a web form or by writing in via email.

These guys seem to take their tagline of “waiting in line sucks. Waiting in line with pizza sucks a little less,” seriously. We hope someone in India is keeping an eye for out at this. We wouldn’t mind something similar in 2019.
