As if we needed a reason to be sipping on cocktails.

While you may love your drink straight up or on the rocks, a cocktail can spice things up. Today, on World Cocktail Day, mix muddle and make merry. Here’s a list of places with some great cocktail offerings. Happy drinking.

The Daily Bar and Kitchen

Summer is on, shorts and sunglasses are out. Nothing sounds quite as interesting as a nice cold cocktail. The Daily Bar and Kitchen has come up with a summer-special cocktail menu to fade the blaze. Chill in style while sipping on the Bombay Nasty – a concoction of rum, cucumber, fresh watermelon infused with mint leaves and coriander to help you stay cool. If you’re looking for something refreshing with bold flavours, look no further than Cleopatra – a cocktail with dry gin, melon liqueur and fresh basil leaves. If you’re more of an adventurer, tingle your taste buds with Trendsetter, made with white rum, soothing jasmine tea, maple syrup and sweet pineapple juice. Delicious much?

London Taxi

Drinking the night away without having to wake up to a bad hangover, may sound near impossible. We say, drink up because London Taxi comes to your rescue with their hangover free cocktails, created by mixologist Ami Shroff. Crafted using natural antioxidant ingredients such as saffron, turmeric, wholesome vegetables like beetroot reduction, mulled cucumber and hydrating sugarcane juice – the end result is a tasteful magical infusion and a perfect formula for no hangovers. The cocktails mixes are pre-prepped for long hours before they make their way to your glasses, bringing out the natural flavour of the ingredients. What more could you have asked for?

Smoke House Deli

Turn every hour into happy hour at Smoke House Deli. Curated by the in-house mixologist Mehbub, these tailor-made drinks are sure to give you a happy high. Since there is really no better combination than that of fruit with alcohol, treat your taste buds to the Orange, cantaloupe melon and vodka, Fresh fruit martini - served with fresh seasonal fruits like watermelon, muskmelon or Margarita – a drink which brings together the best of tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice. You could also choose from Caipiroska - a vodka-based drink mixed with lime and sugar syrup, the Cucumber, basil, lavender, and vodka cocktail, Daiquiri – an oldest basic rum cocktail served with lime juice and sweetener or Whiskey Sour -  mixed drink containing whiskey, lemon juice, sugar, and optionally, a dash of egg white.
