An Australian man turned into the toast of Twitter after he checked in just one piece of luggage. The man, who has been identified as Dean Stinson, later said that he and a friend decided to play the beer card as a joke.
The earlier plan was to use a single deodorant can but that didn’t sound as appealing as checking in a beer can. The incident happened on board Qantas Airways flight QF 777 from Melbourne to Perth. Stinson says he didn’t expect the beer can to survive the flight and was ready to file a missed baggage report in case it didn’t turn up.
When the can turned up perfectly strutting solo on the baggage carousal, Stinson called the moment “perfection”. And of course, Twitter celebrated his victory as well.

Apparently this guy checked in a single can of beer as luggage for his flight. Seriously. https://t.co/Ts90OdGuh0

The airline has confirmed the incident and encouraged fliers not to follow suit.
