Although a home-cooked meal is always wonderful, but instead of spending your entire day in the kitchen, it’s only fair that on Easter Sunday, you let someone else do the cooking. Here’s our hand-picked guide to restaurants that will either help you get a taste of home or instead make you forget what a traditional feast looks like.
The Easter special menu features handpicked dishes by Sorrentina’s Executive Chef Aabhas Mehrotra. Besides, don’t forget to indulge in other sweet treats such as Limoncello Tiramisu and Adam’s Apple. Wash all that down as you sip on some refreshing Pomegranate and Rose Sour or a Lemon Berry Martini. CinCin will be offering a very egg-citing special Easter menu with dishes such as the Salsiccia E Uova, Melanzane Alla Parmigiana and Pizza Affumicata E Scarmoza. To break away from the traditional Easter approach, sample dishes that have been inspired by Naples. Start off with some handmade pasta—Tortello stuffed with creamy pumpkin in a San Marzano tomato sauce and lots of fresh Italian herbs, or the lamb ragu gnocchi with rosemary- doused in red wine and a big helping of Grana Padano cheese mixed in, and then move on to their thinly rolled spinach pasta with garlic butter and cheese topped with an egg yolk (Taglierini Verde Alla’ Uovo) to get into the egg-citing spirit. Make sure to give the Easter surprise a try—Cioccolato Con Lampone, which is a creamy chocolate mousse with raspberries in a cracked chocolate egg.
