Misal Pav - a spicy sprout gravy, sprinkled with chopped onions, coriander and farsan is a popular street food in Maharashtra. While there have been gourmet versions of Misal but here’s a Swiss take we found just for you! Presenting Misal Fondue:
A Misal fondue! Listed on the menu of The Bar Stock Exchange (TBSE) in Mumbai, and Barworks Eatery & Bar, the Misal fondue combines this popular tongue-tickling flavour with cheese. “Being a Mumbaikar, Misal pav is special to me. So I’ve kept the basics of the dish intact, but we’ve added a secret masala to the fondue version, which makes it more exciting,” shares Kshama Prabhu, corporate chef, Corum Hospitality, who designed the menu at TBSE. At Barworks Eatery & Bar, in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, executive chef Bhishandutt Dabral says that their guests have loved this experiment. We’re sure you’ll agree.
