INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup wheat
  • 4 onions
  • 4 green chilli's
  • 8 to 10 garlic cloves
  • Olive oil
  • 250 gms mutton
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbso green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp red chiili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Water
  • 3 tbsp green gram
  • 3 tbsp black gram
  • 5 tbsp bengal gram

HOW TO PREPARE WHEAT BERRY KHICHDA

    Parch wheat.

    pour olive oil.
  3. 3

    Add sliced onions.
  4. 4

    Take 250 gms of boneless mutton.
  5. 5

    Add salt, cumin powder, chilli, garlic, olive oil, garlic paste.

    Crush parched grains using rolling pin.
  7. 7

    In pan add salt, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste and mix well.

    Add turmeric powder, 1 tbsp red chiili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder and mix well.

    Add water.

    Add marinated mutton.

    Add green gram, black gram, bengal gram and mix well.

    Add crushed wheat berry and water.
  13. 13

    Cook for 45 to 50 minutes.
  14. 14

    Serve with fried onions, green chilli, lemon wedges and mint leaves.
