INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tbsp refined flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 1 ¼ tsp mixed herbs
  • salt
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 cup grated beetroot
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1 cup dalia
  • 1 tsp parmesan cheese powder
  • ½ tsp chopped ginger
  • ½ tsp chopped garlic
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • butter for brushing
  • olive oil
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 - 2 lettuce leaves
  • 3 - 4 sliced jalapenos
  • 3 - 4 tomato slices
  • 1 cheese slice
  • ½ tbsp chopped chives

PREPARATION

    Mix refined flour, baking powder, mixed herbs, a pinch of salt and butter milk in a bowl. Brush butter on waffle maker and pour the waffle mixture to make waffles.

    In another bowl mix boiled mashed potatoes, grated beetroot, grated carrots and mixed herbs.

    Soak dalia in hot water and microwave it for 1-2 min. Add soaked dalia, parmesan cheese, ginger, garlic, black pepper, fresh parsley, chilli powder and salt to the potato mixture. Divide the mixture into equal portions to make patties and fry them.

    In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup and hot sauce. Cut the baked waffle with the help of a ring cutter.

    In one waffle bread place lettuce leaves, cutlet, jalapeño, cheese slice, mayonnaise mixture, chopped chives and place waffle bread on the top. Serve the Waffle burger with crunchy wafers.
