INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cucumber, peeled
  • 1 carrot, peeled and julienned
  • 3-4 mushrooms, chopped, crushed black pepper, Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 2½ tsp sweet chili sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 rice paper sheets
  • ¼ cup Iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 tsp peanuts, roasted
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

HOW TO PREPARE VIETNAMESE RICE PAPER ROLLS

    Add chopped and ribboned cucumber, chopped carrot, and chopped mushrooms in a bowl.

    Mix them with crushed black pepper, oil, sesame seeds, vinegar, and sweet chilli sauce.

    Take water in another bowl and dip the rice paper sheets in it.

    Now take out the sheets and place them over a muslin cloth.

    Put the vegetable mixture on each rice paper sheet.

    Fold the rice paper and roll it making a tight cylindrical shape.

    Now,cut the cylinders in halves.

    Chop the iceberg lettuce leaves and add them to a bowl.

    Add sweet chilli sauce, salt, peanuts, and sesame seeds, and mix well.

    Serve the dish with lettuce dip.
