INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup vermicelli
  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • few curry leaves
  • 1 tsp chana dal
  • 7 - 8 roasted cashew nuts
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbsp chopped french beans
  • 1 tbsp grated carrot
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp chopped capsicum
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • water
  • salt
  • 8 - 10 roasted peanuts

PREPARATION

    In a pot, add water, salt as per taste, vermicelli and let it boil.

    In another pan, add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, chana dal, roasted cashews and peanuts.

    Add chopped ginger, chopped onion and saute.

    Add chopped green chillies, french beans, grated carrot. Add chopped capsicum and let it cook.

    Strain the vermicelli in a bowl. Add boiled vermicelli to the pan.

    Add salt as per taste, turmeric powder and mix it well.

    Add water and let it steam. Add lemon juice, mix it well and serve.
