INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tsp Desi Ghee
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Tomato
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 cup Washed Rice
  • 2 tbsp Washed Moong Dal
  • 1 cup Chopped Carrots, Peas, Potatoes
  • 600 ml Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 Drops of Desi Ghee
  • Coriander Sprig for garnish

HOW TO PREPARE VEGGIE KHICHADI

    Heat ghee in a pan, add the onion, ginger paste, garlic paste, tomato and turmeric sauté for a minute.

    Add the rice and moong dal, vegetables and sauté a bit.
  3. 3

    Add water and salt, cover the lid and cook till cooked and soft.
  4. 4

    Once cooked, mash it when while it is soft.
