INGREDIENTS

  • 250 gm dark chocolate
  • 300 gm whipping cream
  • 3 to 4 leaves
  • A few straws
  • 5 to 6 colourful candies
  • Chocolate garnishes

HOW TO PREPARE VEG MOUSSE

  1. 1

    For a double boiler keep a glass bowl on a larger bowl containing bubbling hot water.
  2. 2

    Melt chocolate in the glass bowl placed on top.
  3. 3

    In another bowl, whip some whipping cream till it soft peaks are formed.
  4. 4

    Freeze the creamy whipped cream.
  5. 5

    Temper the molten chocolate for 10 15 min by stirring gently.
  6. 6

    Once tempered spread some molten chocolate on leaves and fill the straw as well (to be used for decoration).
  7. 7

    Place them in the freezer to set.
  8. 8

    Once set, carefully remove leaves from the hardened chocolate and make a slit in the straw to remove the chocolate stick.
  9. 9

    Mix chocolate and whipped cream, fold gently.
  10. 10

    Pour mousse in shot glasses.
  11. 11

    Garnish with candies or jam or chocolate leaves and stick.
  12. 12

    Serve chilled.
