INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp onions
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coconut
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup soya nuggets soaked
  • salt
  • water
  • 2½ tsp broken wheat soaked
  • ½ cup barley
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 3 tsp almond powder
  • Clove powder
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 2 tsp mint
  • 2 tsp coriander leaves
  • 1 Lemon

HOW TO PREPARE VEG HALEEM

    Heat oil in a saucepan.

    Add butter finely chopped garlic, finely chopped onions, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chopped coconut, coriander powder, cumin powder and cinnamon powder.

    Then, add soaked and ground soya nuggets, salt, water, soaked broken wheat, soaked barley, curd, almond powder, clove powder and Kashmiri mirch powder.

    Cover it and allow it to cook.
  5. 5

    Finish it by adding chopped mint, chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice.
  6. 6

    Transfer the prepared Haleem into a plate.
  7. 7

    Garnish it with fried onions and coriander leaves.
