  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 10-12 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp kashmiri chilli
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp asafoetida
  • water as required
  • oil as required
  • 150 gm grated coconut
  • 12-15 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 4 pavs
  • fried green chillies
  • green chutney

    To make Vada Pav, mash the boiled potatoes with salt.

    Then grind green chillies and garlic and make its paste.
  3. 3

    For tempering, add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilli and garlic paste, ginger and turmeric, then mix the mashed potatoes and add salt.

    In a bowl, make a batter mixing gram flour, turmeric, kashmiri chilli, salt, sweet soda, asafoetida and water.

    Put the batter in the pan, after frying, take out the crumbs.

    Now make potato balls, wrap the potato balls in the batter and fry.

    In a pan, roast the grated coconut, garlic, fried crumbs and red chili powder and then mix it in the mixer with salt.

    Vada Pav is ready, serve it with dry chutney, fried green chillies and green chutney.
