Turron De Coco

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 ml Condensed Milk
  • 100 ml Coconut Milk
  • 2 Cups Dessicated Coconut
  • 250 gm Dark Chocolate
  • 50 gm chopped Almond
  • 50 gm chopped Walnuts
  • 50 gm Cranberries
  • ½ cup Icing Sugar

HOW TO PREPARE TURRON DE COCO

    In a pan, cook condensed milk and coconut milk together.
  2. 2

    Add desiccated coconut and mix well.
  3. 3

    Spread the coconut mixture in a deep baking tray layered with plastic sheet.
  4. 4

    Pour the melted chocolate on top of the coconut mixture and set in refrigerator for 2 hours.
  5. 5

    Remove the set coconut block and apply molten chocolate on the other side, top with some chopped nuts.
  6. 6

    Cut into bite size pieces and let the chocolate set.
  7. 7

    Garnish with dried cranberries and dust with icing sugar.
  8. 8

    Turron de coco is ready to serve.
