  • 2 carrots
  • 3 - 4 drumsticks
  • 2 - 3 green chillies
  • 1 cauliflower
  • ½ cup ghee
  • 3 - 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1-2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 cup moong dal
  • 1 cup urad dal
  • 2 cup daliya or broken wheat
  • salt to taste
  • water as required
  • fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp ghee

    Heat ghee in a pot and add garlic, onions, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and saute.

    Add carrots, cauliflower florets, drumsticks and saute again.

    In a bowl, combine daliya, urad dal, moong dal with water and transfer the mixture to the pot.

    Add salt and mix well. Let the daliya and dals cook until done.

    Serve Tori Dalna with a garnish of fresh coriander sprig.
