INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Tokyo Pancake
  • ½ cabbage
  • 4 spring onion greens
  • 1 spring onion bulb
  • salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  • FOR Dip
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp vegetarian mayonnaise
  • 6 tbsp red chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 9 tbsp Worcestershire sauce and dark soya sauce mix
  • 1 spring onion green
  • FOR Salad
  • ½ cabbage
  • salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp red chilli sauce
  • ¼ cup tbsp Worcestershire sauce and dark soya sauce mix
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 spring onion bulb
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

HOW TO PREPARE TOKYO PANCAKE

  1. 1

    Procedure to make Tokyo Pancake: In a bowl add finely chopped cabbage, spring onion greens and onion bulbs.

    Add salt, black pepper powder and mix it.
  3. 3

    Add cornflour, bread crumbs and mix it well.
  4. 4

    In a pan add sesame oil and let it heat.
  5. 5

    In a bowl add vegetarian mayonnaise, red chilli sauce, toasted sesame seeds, honey, a mixture of Worcestershire sauce & dark soya sauce.

    Add spring onion green and mix it.
  7. 7

    Dust the pancakes on corn flour and fry it in the heated oil.

    In a bowl add chopped cabbage, salt, black pepper powder, toasted cumin seeds, red chilli sauce, a mixture of Worcestershire sauce & dark soya sauce.

    Add toasted sesame seeds and mix it well.

    Fry the spring onions in the oil.

    To the cabbage add salt, sesame oil and mix it well.

    Cut slices of pancake.

    To garnish add grilled spring onions, toasted sesame seeds, dip, salad and Tokyo pancake are ready to serve.
