INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 cup chopped apple gourd (tinda)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • water
  • For Paste: chopped chopped ginger garlic
  • chopped green chillies
  • chopped coriander
  • Desiccated coconut
  • water
  • For Garnish: fried red chilli

HOW TO PREPARE TINDA CURRY

    To prepare the curry paste in a mixer, add the ginger, garlic, green chillies, coriander (all chopped) and desiccated coconut with a little water, Blend them all to get a thick green paste.

    Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and chopped apple gourd, fry till the apple gourd becomes soft.

    Add salt, turmeric powder and green curry paste, mix well and add water, bring the mixture to a boil.

    Serve hot in a plate and garnish with a fried red chilli.
