INGREDIENTS

  • 1 litre Whole Milk
  • 200 gms Castor Sugar
  • 120 gms All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 10 Phyllo Sheets
  • 20 gms Butter(melted)
  • 20 gms Blueberries
  • ½ tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • For Garnish Mint Sprigs
  • Castor Sugar

HOW TO PREPARE THEKUA

  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, cardamom powder, grated coconut and the prepared jaggery syrup.
  2. 2

    Mix it well and knead it to a dough.
  3. 3

    Then, add chopped nuts and raisins, and knead the dough again.
  4. 4

    Take small portion from the dough and flatten the dough into a small disc shape.
  5. 5

    Deep fry them in oil.
  6. 6

    Fry until they turn golden brown.
  7. 7

    Your Thekua are ready to be served.
