Sweet fried cardamom and jaggery wheat dough balls. While serving them, garnish it with some jaggery syrup, grated coconut and sesame seeds.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat flour
  • Water
  • 3 tbsp Jaggery
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp coconut powder
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 tsp Jaggery syrup
  • ½ tsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tsp coconut powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar powder

HOW TO PREPARE THECHWANI

  1. 1

    In a pan a add whole wheat flour, ghee, cardamom powder and mix.
  2. 2

    cook jaggery and water to make syrup, cook it down and add in whole wheat flour, add milk, desiccated coconut powder and knead into a dough.
  3. 3

    make small round balls from the dough deep fry oil.
  4. 4

    garnish rotana with jaggery syrup, sesame seeds, desiccated coconut powder, sugar powder and serve.
