Thandai Mousse
Here is an Indian festive mousse. It is easy to prepare and can be made a day before Holi and set in the fridge and serve it chilled. You can even add dried fruits to this Thandai Mousse.

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 gm vegetarian gelatin
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • ½ cup thandai syrup
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup whipped cream

HOW TO PREPARE THANDAI MOUSSE

    Soak vegetarian gelatin in a pan for 10 minutes.

    Then keep this pan under low flame and constantly stir.
  3. 3

    Add milk and sugar to the gelatin and stir continuously until milk boils.
  4. 4

    Strain in another bowl using a muslin cloth.
  5. 5

    Add thandai syrup to this strained mixture.
  6. 6

    Mix with lemon juice and whipped cream.
  7. 7

    Whisk well.
  8. 8

    Pour the mixture in a serving glass and refrigerate.
  9. 9

    Serve chilled.
