INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Tavuk Gogsu
  • 1 Skinless And Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • .
  • FOR Custard
  • 2 cup Sugar
  • As needed Water
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 5 table spoons rice Flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pod Cardamom
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • .
  • FOR Garnish
  • Pomegranate Seeds
  • Orange Wedges
  • Dried Hibiscus

HOW TO PREPARE TAVUK GOGSU

  1. 1

    In hot water, add chicken breast, 2 tbsp of sugar and boil it for 25 minutes on slow flame, shred it and keep aside.

    In a pot boil 3 cups of milk and 2cup sugar.
  3. 3

    Make slurry of 5 tablespoons rice flour and remaining 1/2 cup milk.
  4. 4

    Mix the slurry in boiling milk and whisk it.
  5. 5

    Add shredded chicken and whisk the custard continuously.
  6. 6

    Switch off the heat and add1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 cardamom pod.
  7. 7

    Melt 1 tbsp butter in pan and brown it.
  8. 8

    In a ceramic bowl spoon hot butter, sprinkle pinch of sugar and pour chicken custard, set it in refrigerator for 2 hours.
  9. 9

    To serve place chilled Tavuk Gogsu on a plate, pour remaining caramelized butter and garnish with Orange wedges, Pomegranate seeds and dried Hibiscus.
