Tanaaz's Fried Chicken (TFC)
Yummy and crispy, this fried chicken dish has a distinct Parsi touch to it and is served with a spicy garlic dip.

  • FOR Fried Chicken
  • 2 tsp dhansak masala
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp cumin coriander powder
  • Salt
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp cumin coriander powder
  • 2 tsp dhansak masala
  • 2 tsp dhansak masala
  • Salt
  • Egg white
  • FOR The Dip
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • FOR Garnish
  • chopped coriander
  • Lemon wedge

    Take the chicken pieces and marinate them with ginger paste.

    Add dhansak powder cumin coriander powder and red chilli powder.
  3. 3

    Add the same spices to the breadcrumbs as well.
  4. 4

    Add salt to the marinated chicken as well as the breadcrumbs.
  5. 5

    Dip the marinated chicken pieces into the egg white, coat them with the prepared bread crumbs mixture and set aside.

    Preheat the air fryer.

    Grease the fryer with oil and cook for 15 min or till done.

    For the dip: In a bowl, take a cup of curd, whisk it and add garlic paste and chilli powder.

    Add sugar and salt to taste and the whole thing well.
  10. 10

    When the chicken is ready, serve hot with the garlic dip and garnish with chopped coriander.
