INGREDIENTS

  • 2 onions diced
  • 1 diced green bell pepper
  • 1 diced red bell pepper
  • 1 carrot diced
  • 50 gm pineapple
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 2 tsp tomato ketchup
  • ½ cup fresh tomato juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp green chilli
  • oil
  • 500 gm chicken
  • ½ cup corn flour
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • Spring onion greens
  • Sprouts

HOW TO PREPARE SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN

    Cut the chicken breast into thin strips and refrigerate.

    Marinate with egg corn flour, chopped garlic, and ginger.
  3. 3

    Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add the vegetables, chopped pineapple, chopped ginger, and chopped garlic.

    Toss the mixture.
  5. 5

    Add tomato ketchup, fresh tomato juice, pineapple juice, salt, sugar, and chopped green chilli.

    Mix well.
  7. 7

    Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken strips.
  8. 8

    Add the crispy chicken strips to the vegetable mixture and toss.
  9. 9

    Add some salt again and mix.
  10. 10

    Do not over cook.
  11. 11

    Serve the sweet and sour chicken in a plate.

    Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and sprouts.
