  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1/2 tbsp black onion seeds
  • 1 cup shallots
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 cup soaked raisins
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water

    In a heated pan, add mustard oil, black onion seeds, shallots, salt as per taste and let it cook for 7 - 8 minutes.

    Add soaked raisins, black pepper powder, black cardamom, bay leaves, sugar, tomato puree, vinegar, water and stir it.

    Serve the chutney with puri.
