INGREDIENTS

  • 2 onions diced
  • 1 diced green bell pepper
  • 1 diced red bell pepper
  • 1 carrot diced
  • 50 gm pineapple
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 2 tsp tomato ketchup
  • ½ cup fresh tomato juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp green chilli
  • oil
  • 500 gm chicken
  • ½ cup corn flour
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • Spring onion greens
  • Sprouts

PREPARATION

    Cut the chicken breast into thin strips and refrigerate. Marinate with egg corn flour, chopped garlic, and ginger. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add the vegetables, chopped pineapple, chopped ginger, and chopped garlic. Toss the mixture. Add tomato ketchup, fresh tomato juice, pineapple juice, salt, sugar, and chopped green chilli. Mix well. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken strips. Add the crispy chicken strips to the vegetable mixture and toss. Add some salt again and mix. Do not over cook. Serve the sweet and sour chicken in a plate. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and sprouts.
