Stuffed Crunchy Bell Peppers

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ cup onions
  • 1 cup mixed bell peppers
  • 1 cup peas blanched
  • 1 cup sweet corn blanched
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 cup cottage grated cheese
  • ¼ cup potatoes boiled and grated
  • 1 cup refined flour batter
  • black pepper crushed
  • salt
  • oil for frying
  • Tomato sauce
  • Green peas

    Discard the heads of the bell peppers and deseed them to form a cavity for stuffing.

    For the filling, heat oil in a pan.
  3. 3

    Saute chopped onions.
  4. 4

    Add chopped mixed bell peppers blanched peas, blanched sweet corn, and red chilli flakes.

    Mix well.

    Season with salt and crushed black pepper.

    Mix well and cook the vegetables.
  8. 8

    Add grated cottage cheese and boiled and grated potatoes and mix the vegetables.

    The filling is ready.

    Fill the cavity of the bell peppers with the stuffing.

    Coat the stuffed bell peppers with the refined flour batter (refined flour combined with salt and red chilli powder).

    Heat oil for deep frying.

    Deep fry the batter coated bell peppers.
  14. 14

    Transfer to a tissue paper to drain excess oil.
  15. 15

    To the serving plate, add tomato sauce.
  16. 16

    Place the stuffed crunchy bell peppers on the sauce.
  17. 17

    Garnish with some green peas.
