INGREDIENTS

  • For Stuffed Bhindi 10 to 12 lady’s fingers
  • 1 tbsp oil for frying
  • For The Stuffing 1 tbsp oil
  • 50 gm white sesame seeds
  • ½ cup Peanuts
  • 50 gm grated coconut
  • 2 to 3 chopped green chillies
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • salt to taste
  • For Garnish: chopped cabbage

HOW TO PREPARE STUFFED BHINDI

    After discarding the head and tail of the bhindis slit them vertically.

    Heat oil in a pan.
  3. 3

    Add white sesame seeds peanuts, grated coconut, and chopped green chillies.
  4. 4

    Season with salt , add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander seeds, and cumin seeds.

    Roast well.
  6. 6

    When perfectly roasted allow the mixture to cool and then grind to a coarse texture.
  7. 7

    Stuff the slit lady?s fingers with this filling.
  8. 8

    Heat oil in a separate pan and fry the stuffed bhindis till they turn dark brown.
  9. 9

    In the serving bowl, arrange a bed of chopped cabbage and place bhindis over it.
  10. 10

    Serve.
