Strawberry Tarts
Here s a classic delicacy, tarts filled with strawberry syrup and fresh fruits. These tarts look very pretty and taste simply delicious.

  • 1 cup pearl millet flour
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 to 4 tbsp semolina
  • 2 to 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 to 3 tbsp sugar
  • powdered
  • 6 to 8 tbsp Strawberry syrup
  • 3 to 4 tbsp beans
  • salt to taste
  • For Garnish: Fresh creaml
  • Pearsliced
  • Kiwisliced
  • Applesliced
  • orangesliced
  • Strawberry syrup

    In a bowl combine pearl millet flour and equal quantity of all purpose flour.

    Add semolina, butter, baking powder, and powdered sugar.
  3. 3

    Add strawberry syrup and mix everything well.
  4. 4

    Add a pinch of salt and mix again to make a dough.
  5. 5

    Dust the tart moulds with some all purpose flour.
  6. 6

    Pinch a small portion of the dough and line the mould.
  7. 7

    Press the dough well to fit the mould.
  8. 8

    Add the beans on the tarts.
  9. 9

    Bake in a pre heated oven for 15 min at 180' C.

    Once baked, keep aside the beans and unmould the tarts.
  11. 11

    Fill fresh cream in a piping bag and pipe it out in the tarts to fill them.
  12. 12

    Arrange sliced fruits (pear, kiwi, apple, and orange) on the fresh cream.

    Drizzle strawberry syrup on top.
