Spicy Masala Mackerel Samosa

  • 1 masala mackerel
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 6-7 phyllo sheets, Water as required, Oil for greasing
  • FOR serving
  • mint sauce
  • FOR garnish
  • Mint leaves

    Heat oil in a pan and shallow-fry the Masala mackerel.
  2. 2

    For the samosa stuffing, separate the flesh from the bones and slightly chop the fish.
  3. 3

    Place the flesh in a bowl.
  4. 4

    Add lemon juice to the fish and mix well.
  5. 5

    Apply water to the phyllo sheets.
  6. 6

    Place a spoonful of the fish mixture at one end of the sheet.
  7. 7

    Lift one end of the sheet to make a triangle.
  8. 8

    Fold again to form one more triangle; repeat this process till the end of the phyllo sheet is reached.

    Grease a baking tray with oil.
  10. 10

    Bake the samosas for 5-6 min in a pre-heated oven.
  11. 11

    Serve the samosas with mint sauce and garnish with mint leaves.
