Spicy Masala Mackerel Samosa

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 masala mackerel
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 6 to 7 phyllo sheets
  • water as required
  • oil for frying
  • mint sauce for garnish

HOW TO PREPARE SPICY MASALA MACKEREL SAMOSA

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and shallow fry the Masala mackerel. For the samosa stuffing, separate the flesh from the bones and slightly chop the fish. Place the flesh in a bowl. Add lemon juice to the fish and mix well. Samosa filling is ready. Apply water to the phyllo sheets. Place a spoonful of the fish mixture at one end of the sheet. Lift one end of the sheet to make a triangle. Fold again to form one more triangle repeat this process till the end of the phyllo sheet is reached. Grease a baking tray with oil. Bake the samosa for 5 to 6 minutes in a preheated oven. Spicy Masala Mackerel Samosa is ready. Serve the samosa with mint sauce and garnish with mint leaves.
