INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup soya beans soaked
  • 4 to 5 tbsp gram flour
  • 3 to 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 to 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • Crushed black pepper
  • salt
  • water

HOW TO PREPARE SOYABEAN MANCHURIAN

  1. 1

    In a bowl coat the soaked soya bean chunks with gram flour.
  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan.
  3. 3

    Shallow fry the soya bean chunks.
  4. 4

    For the sauce, heat oil in another pan.
  5. 5

    Saute chopped garlic ginger juliennes, and chopped onions.
  6. 6

    Add chilli sauce, soy sauce, sugar, mixed bell pepper cubes, and chopped spring onion greens.
  7. 7

    Mix well.
  8. 8

    Add the fried soya bean chunks to the sauce and mix well.
  9. 9

    Add little water and simmer for some time.
  10. 10

    Add corn flour and sesame seeds to the Manchurian.
  11. 11

    Season with salt and crushed black pepper.
  12. 12

    Mix again.
  13. 13

    Transfer the soya bean Manchurian to the serving plate.
  14. 14

    Garnish with some chopped spring onion greens and a spring onion.
