  • FOR the soya mixture
  • ½ cup potatoesmashed
  • 1 cup soya kheemasoaked
  • 2 tbsp corianderfinely chopped
  • 2 tsp green chilliesfinely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • FOR the onion mixture
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • ¼ cup onionsfinely chopped
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp fenugreek leavesdried
  • 2-3 tbsp gram flour
  • Salt to taste
  • FOR garnish
  • green chutney

    For the soya mixture, add mashed potatoes, soya kheema, chopped coriander, salt and green chillies to a bowl and mix them well.

    For the onion mixture, heat oil in a pan.
  3. 3

    Add cumin seeds, chopped onions, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt.

    Mix well and shallow fry on a low flame.
  5. 5

    Add dried fenugreek leaves to finish the mixture.
  6. 6

    Fry briefly and switch off the flame.
  7. 7

    Add the onion mixture to the soya mixture.
  8. 8

    Mix them well and bind with gram flour.
  9. 9

    Press and mould the mixture on seekhs.
  10. 10

    Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the seekhs on both sides.
  11. 11

    Set aside and serve with green chutney.
