INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Rice Flekes
  • 1 cup Gobindobhog rice; 2 tbsp curd; 2 tbsp cottage cheese; Sugar syrup
  • FOR Nikhuti
  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • Ghee
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

HOW TO PREPARE SITA BHOG

    Make a fine powder of Gobindobhog rice add curd and blend it.

    Remove paste in the bowl and cottage cheese, rest paste for 10 to 15 minutes.

    Divide the dough into two parts, add few drops of saffron water to one.
  4. 4

    Heat ghee in a pan, using a seive press down dough to make rice flekes.
  5. 5

    Deep fry rice fleke till crispy.
  6. 6

    Repeat this process with saffron dough.

    Remove and keep aside.
  8. 8

    Soak for few minutes.

    For Nikhuti mix milk powder, all purpose flour, baking soda, curd to make a dough.

    make small balls of it and deep fry in ghee till dark brown.

    Put into the sugar syrup.
  12. 12

    Place plain and saffron rice flekes on a plate and drop Nikhuti.
  13. 13

    Sita Bhog is ready to serve.
