Chop bitter gourd drumstick, sweet potato, snake guard, runner beans, and raw papaya. In a pan, heat mustard oil. Add chopped bitter gourd and raw papaya. Roast and transfer to a plate and sprinkle salt on them. In the same pan, heat mustard oil, add black gram wadi roast and transfer to a plate. In a pan, heat mustard oil, add chopped ginger, green chilli, panch phoran masala, chopped veggies, salt, roasted bitter gourd and raw papaya, chopped raw banana, ground poppy seeds, mustard paste, milk, and water. Cook well. For rice dumplings, knead a dough with rice flour, salt, and water. Make small balls from the dough and add to the pan of pan with veggies. Add black gram wadi, sugar, and ghee to the pan and mix. Garnish shukto bowl with slit green chillies and coriander leaves. Serve the dish with rice dumplings & baingan bhaja.
