INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Sheer Chai
  • 3 Cups water
  • 1 tsp Sheer chai Leaves
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 to 4 Almonds
  • ½ tsp green cardamom
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Salt as per test
  • 1 tbsp Malai
  • Green cardamom
  • powder
  • Crushed Almonds as needed
  • FOR Chochwor
  • 300 gms Whole Wheat Flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking powder
  • Salt as per test
  • 2 tbsp Milk powder
  • White Sesame seeds as required

HOW TO PREPARE SHEER CHAI CHOCHWOR

    In water, add Sheer Chai leaves and baking Soda.
  2. 2

    Add water, boil till tea concentrates to Red colour.
  3. 3

    Add water and boil for 3 minutes.
  4. 4

    Add Crushed Almonds, Green cardamom powder and boil.
  5. 5

    Add Milk, Salt and bring Tea to boil.
  6. 6

    Garnish with Malai, Green cardamom powder Almonds.
  7. 7

    For Chochwor: Mix Wheat Flour, Baking Soda, Baking powder, Milk powder, Salt and make a soft dough using water.

    Divide dough equally and shape it like a cookie.
  9. 9

    Press in the centre to create an indent.
  10. 10

    Mix Milk powder, Milk and apply on the dough bolls.
  11. 11

    Sprinkle White Sesame seeds on each dough balls.
  12. 12

    Bake in a preheated Oven at 180 C for 12 Minutes.
  13. 13

    Serve Sheer Chai with Chochwor.
