  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp milk
  • 1 tsp soaked saffron strands
  • 250 gm sev
  • 1/2 kg khoya
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • chopped pistachios
  • icing sugar
  • chopped almonds
  • chopped cashew nuts

    In a heated pan, add sugar, water and let the sugar melt. Add milk and let it boil. Extract the residues. Add sev and stir it.

    Add soaked saffron strands and mix it. Add khoya and mix it well. Add milk and mix it nicely and let it cook.

    Add rose water and mix it. Add the mixture in a metal mould. Add chopped pistachios, almonds, cashew nuts and leave it to set.

    Once the mixture is set, cut it into pieces. Garnish with icing sugar, pistachios and serve.
