Sea Salt Baked Fish

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 surmai fish
  • 1 Lemon wedge
  • Few thyme leaves
  • 3 to 4 egg white
  • Few rosemary leaves
  • Sea sal
  • Chives
  • Lemon wedges
  • Basil leaves
  • olive oil

HOW TO PREPARE SEA SALT BAKED FISH

  1. 1

    Stuff the fish with a lemon wedge and thyme leaves for flavour.
  2. 2

    Mix sea salt and egg white in a bowl.
  3. 3

    Line a baking tray with aluminium foil.
  4. 4

    Spread the sea salt egg white on this foil to give a crust base for the fish.
  5. 5

    Place the fish on this base.
  6. 6

    Add some rosemary leaves in the remaining sea salt mixture and mix.
  7. 7

    Apply this mix on top of the fish and make a crust.
  8. 8

    In a pre heated oven, bake the fish for 50 to 55 minutes at 180C.
  9. 9

    Once baked, discard the sea salt crust and the skin of the fish.
  10. 10

    Separate bones from the fish.
  11. 11

    Transfer to a serving plate.
  12. 12

    Garnish with chives lemon wedges, basil leaves, and olive oil.
