Samosa Pinwheels
This is not a routine samosa. Filled with the goodness of fresh green peas, this samosa recipe is quick to prepare and also makes for a great appetiser option for Jains. Health bhi, taste bhi!

  • 1 cup green peas, boiled
  • 1 tsp all ground spice
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • Dough
  • Rava
  • oil, for frying
  • Curd
  • Sweet chutney
  • Coriander sprigs

    In a mixer blend together the boiled green peas, all ground spice, chaat masala, red chilli powder and cumin seeds.

    Flatten the already prepared dough using a roller on a rava sprinkled surface.
  3. 3

    Evenly spread a thin layer of the blended peas mix on the flattened dough.
  4. 4

    On the edges of the dough, sprinkle some water to seal.
  5. 5

    Carefully roll the peas mix layered dough, to make a single roll.
  6. 6

    Cut the roll into small pieces.
  7. 7

    Press the pieces into a pyramidal shape.
  8. 8

    Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces after coating them with rava.
  9. 9

    Once they turn crisp, remove them from the oil and transfer to a serving dish.
