INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Sambusak Stuffing
  • 100 gm Soya Chunks
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Big Onion
  • 6 to 7 Green Cardamom
  • 5 Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 3 Black Peppers
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 2 Mace
  • 1 tsp Garlic Ginger paste
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Fresh Coriander and Mint
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • Few Dry nuts
  • FOR Dough
  • 200 gm All Purpose flour
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Flour mixed with water
  • FOR Chutney
  • Fresh Coriander
  • Mint
  • Green Chilli
  • 1 Large Garlic
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Roaste Cumin powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Lemon Juice

HOW TO PREPARE SAMBUSAK

  1. 1

    Boil water and add soya chunks in it let soak for 5 minutes then strain it and keep it aside.
  2. 2

    take a pan add oil, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, black peppers, bay leaf, mace in it.
  3. 3

    add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, add minced soya chunks.
  4. 4

    add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and tomato.
  5. 5

    add fresh chopped coriander, garama masala and chopped chillies.
  6. 6

    add chopped dry fruits and stir it well.
  7. 7

    switch off the gas and let the mixture cool down.
  8. 8

    prepare the dough by combining flour, salt, ghee and cold water let it sit for half an hour at room temperature.
  9. 9

    take the dough roll it flat and make thin sheets of it.
  10. 10

    make a paste of flour and water.
  11. 11

    add filling in middle of sheet and fold the sheet in triangle shape, use the flour paste to stick end of the triangle.
  12. 12

    fry triangle shaped samosa in oil till golden brown and serve it with green chutney.
