  • For dough
  • 1.5 kg plain floor
  • 300 gm coarse sea salt
  • 600 gm salt
  • 2 egg
  • water
  • For salt dome chicken
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 40 gm butter
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt
  • 2 tsp black papper
  • For gravy
  • oil
  • rosemary
  • thyme
  • dry red chillies
  • garlic

    Procedure to make Salt Dome Chicken: In a bowl add refined flour, coarse sea salt, salt, eggs, water and prepare a dough.

    Into the chicken add butter, garlic cloves, sliced lemon and leave it.

    Roll out the dough over the flour.

    Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
  5. 5

    Add salt and pepper.
  6. 6

    Cover the chicken with dough and bake it in a preheated oven at 200' C for 50 - 60 minutes.

    In a pan of hot oil infused with rosemary leaves, thyme, red chillies, garlic add the mixture to the chicken and Salt Dome Chicken is ready to serve.
