INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups salli (potato chips)
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp sambhar masala
  • 2 tsp dhanshak masala
  • 2 tsp coriander roasted cumin powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 eggs
  • Salt
  • tomato juliennes
  • coriander
  • Mint sprig

HOW TO PREPARE SALI PAR EDU

  1. 1

    Heat a pan and spread the Sali in it.
  2. 2

    Add red chilli powder, sambhar masala, dhanshak masala and roasted cumin coriander powder.
  3. 3

    Mix well cover it and let the steam build up.
  4. 4

    Remove the cover, add a cup of water and mix.
  5. 5

    Cover and let it cook again.
  6. 6

    Once all the moisture has evaporated, break 5 eggs over the Sali.
  7. 7

    Cover it and cook on a low flame.
  8. 8

    Add salt to taste.
  9. 9

    Cut into wedges.
  10. 10

    Garnish with a tomato, chopped coriander and mint sprig.
  11. 11

    Serve hot.
