Add soaked rice to hot water in a pan. To give flavour to the rice put some cloves and cardamom in the water. Add a little lemon juice to the water. Strain the rice when it is cooked. In another pan, heat some ghee. Add a layer of cooked rice in the ghee. Pour a little sugar syrup to the rice. Add condensed milk to the rice. Make another layer by adding rice, syrup, condensed milk and a little saffron water. Cover it and cook it on the low flame for 10 to 15 minutes. When the rice is cooked, add some more condensed milk as topping. Meanwhile, take some chopped almonds, chopped dry coconut and raisins. Add these chopped dry fruits on the top of the rice mixture. Cover the pan and cook for another two minutes. Safed zarda is ready. Transfer it to a plate and serve hot.
