INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 6 green chillies
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup split black dal
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Salt as per taste
  • 10 to 12 small dried fish
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 6 to 8 roasted garlic pods
  • FOR Garnish
  • Green chilli

HOW TO PREPARE SABAI WNGKHRWI/MAATHI MAH DAL

    In a heated pan, add mustard oil and let it warm. Add chopped onion and saute. Add soaked split black dal, water, ginger garlic paste, salt as per taste and let it cook.

    Roast the small dried fish on slow flame. Prepare a paste of this along with green chillies, salt, chopped onion, roasted garlic pods and mustard oil.
  3. 3

    To the dal, add crushed green chilli and cook it for 3 minutes. Garnish with green chilli and serve.
