INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat flour
  • Water
  • 3 tbsp Jaggery
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp coconut powder
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 tsp Jaggery syrup
  • ½ tsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tsp coconut powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar powder

HOW TO PREPARE ROTANA

    In a pan a add whole wheat flour, ghee, cardamom powder and mix.

    cook jaggery and water to make syrup, cook it down and add in whole wheat flour, add milk, desiccated coconut powder and knead into a dough.

    make small round balls from the dough deep fry oil.
  4. 4

    garnish rotana with jaggery syrup, sesame seeds, desiccated coconut powder, sugar powder and serve.
