INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Dough
  • 1½ cups Refined flour
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar powder
  • Water
  • FOR Filling
  • 2 to 3 walnuts
  • 1 tsp Icing sugar
  • ½ tsp Refined flour
  • 1 Apple
  • 2 tbsp sugar powder
  • FOR garnish
  • Condensed milk
  • Dry fruits

HOW TO PREPARE ROSE APPLE PIE

  1. 1

    Mix refined flour cinnamon powder, olive oil, and powdered sugar on a kitchen counter top.
  2. 2

    Knead and prepare the dough for making the crust.
  3. 3

    For the glaze, in a pan, add powdered sugar and some water.
  4. 4

    On low heat mix the sugar till it melts.
  5. 5

    Switch off the stove.
  6. 6

    For the pie crust, flatten the dough and place it in a mould greased with olive oil and coated with flour.

    Press firmly against the bottom and sides.
  8. 8

    Add chopped walnuts icing sugar to the pie crust.

    Sprinkle refined flour.
  10. 10

    Place the mould in a pre heated stove top baking pot.
  11. 11

    Bake it for 5 7 minutes.

    Reheat the pan which has the glaze.

    Add the thin slices of apple and cook till they soften.
  14. 14

    Remove the pie crust from the pot.
  15. 15

    Let the baking pot be on the stove top (covered to ensure pre heating continues).

    Roll the apple slices in such a way that each looks like a rose.

    Cover the crust with apple roses.

    Place the pie back into the baking pot.
  19. 19

    Bake for 15 to 16 minutes.
  20. 20

    Remove the pie from the mould and garnish it with condensed milk.
  21. 21

    In a rectangular serving plate, serve the pie that's garnished with some more walnuts and icing sugar.
  22. 22

    Serve the pie with condensed milk on the side.
