INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lit sugarcane juice
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 120 gm soaked rice
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 7-8 almonds
  • 7-8 cashews
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp clarified butter
  • pistachios

PREPARATION

    Cook sugarcane juice, milk and lemon juice together in a pan.
  2. 2

    Add the soaked rice to it and cook till it thickens.
  3. 3

    Crush black pepper, almonds and cashews in a mortar and pestle and add them to the kheer, and then add salt and clarified butter to it.

    Garnish with pistachios and serve.
