INGREDIENTS

  • 100 gm butter
  • 2 tbsp oil and 100 gm ghee
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 500 gm chicken
  • 2 tsp fennel seeds
  • salt as per taste
  • 4 tbsp onion paste
  • 250 ml of orange juice
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder and cumin powder
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 black cardamoms
  • 1 tsp black pepper seeds
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 100 gm curd
  • water
  • 1/2 tsp red food colour
  • 2 tsp chopped coriander
  • 75 gm fried onion rings
  • cream
  • coriander leaves red chilli for garnish

PREPARATION

    In a heated pan, add butter and let it melt. Add oil, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, chicken and let it cook. Add orange juice and let it cook.

    n another heated pan, add ghee, fennel seeds, onion paste and saute.

    Add turmeric powder, salt as per taste, red chilli powder, cumin powder and mix.

    Add ginger garlic paste, black cardamoms, black pepper seeds, fennel seeds, chaat masala, curd and mix.

    Add water as required, red food colour and mix. Add chopped coriander, fried onion rings and mix. Add cream and mix.

    Add the gravy and cooked chicken in a bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves, red chilli, cream, dried coconut and fried onion rings.
