  • 2 raw green bananas
  • 1½ cup water and turmeric mixture
  • oil for frying
  • Banana leaves
  • salt
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp carom seeds roasted

PREPARATION

    Peel the raw green bananas and slice them vertically. Soak the banana slices in the water and turmeric mixture. Heat oil for deep frying. Drain water from the banana slices and deep fry the the chips until crisp. Remove the banana chips on a tissue paper. Line a bowl with banana leaves, arrange the banana chips and garnish with salt, red chilli powder, and roasted carom seeds.
